Wuhu Institute of Intelligent Sensor was founded in 2025. As a technology platform enterprise wholly funded by Wuhu Investment Holdings Group Co., Ltd., it serves as a core initiative for Wuhu to seize the new track of the intelligent sensor industry and build an innovation ecosystem covering the entire industrial chain. The Institute closely aligns with the sensor application demands of Wuhu's core industrial clusters. It shoulders the vital mission of empowering the development of upstream and downstream enterprises in the sensor industry and propel the local industry to upgrade toward high-end and intelligent transformation.The Institute carries out in-depth cooperation with the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and extensively links innovation resources from the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, providing all-round and full-cycle support for enterprises in the sensor industrial chain. The Institute opens up its MEMS pilot and small-batch production lines for local technology enterprises in the field of sensor sector, offering low-cost, high-quality and timely trial production and product performance optimization services, as well as inspection and testing services. This bridges the "last mile" from technological research and development to scenario application, helping local enterprises cut R&D costs and shorten product time-to-market. In addition, the Institute launches a campaign to capture enterprises' technical demands, precisely targeting the technical pain points of local firms and jointly conducting industry-university-research collaborative research to promote the transformation and commercialization of high-quality technological achievements. By expanding its cooperation network, vigorously promotes applied research, experimental development and commercial trial production, the institute injects new vitality into the development of the regional industry.
