Founded in 2013, SITRI focuses on globally accelerating the innovation and industrialization of “More than Moore” technologies. With a $210m investment, SITRI’s 8 inch R&D pilot line is the world’s leading process R&D platform and was launched in 2017. Three different device technology platforms are currently in operation, such as MEMS sensors, silicon photonics, Biochips and there’s still more to come. This line covers a variety of special processes and small volume production. It also provides an efficient path to success for new products and seamlessly transit them from R&D to volume production.
