SITRI is an open R&D functional platform, it offers our customers comprehensive services and solutions from R&D to engineering services. We are very active in the fields of 5G communications, Biomedicine, AI, and IoT. Founded in 2013, SITRI is a nonprofit organization and a new kind of international innovation center, focuses on globally accelerating the innovation and industrialization of “More than Moore” technologies. We provide pivotal services especially for startups to speed up the time from concept to industrialization. We help to cut down the cost and we are the bridge from lab to volume production. SITRI’s “More than Moore” 8 inch R&D pilot line is the first of its kind in China. With a $250m investment, it is the world’s leading process R&D platform and was launched in 2017. Five different device technology platforms are currently in operation, such as MEMS sensors, AlN, analog, radio frequency, and silicon photonics, intelligent fluidics, BTIT and there’s still more to come. This line covers a variety of special processes and small volume production. It also provides an efficient path to success for new products and seamlessly transition them from R&D to volume production. Since it was founded, SITRI has applied for more than 700 proprietary patents, including 47 PCT international patents. Effective patent protection is crucial to SITRI’s future growth.
