InfraTec GmbH Infrarotsensorik und Messtechnik was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Dresden. This owner-managed company employs more than 240 staff and has its own R&D, manufacturing, and sales capabilities.
The Infrared Sensor division manufactures customised components – in particular pyroelectric infrared detectors – for customers worldwide. The product portfolio includes analogue single‑ and multi‑channel detectors, as well as digital multi‑channel detectors (PyrIQ®) and high‑performance detectors (PYRONEER®) for analytical instruments. The detectors are used in gas analysis, fire and flame sensing, and spectroscopy.
