Single-channel pyroelectric infrared detectors are mainly used for flame detection.

They are based on lithium tantalate single crystal pyroelectric effect, combined with ultra-low noise field effect tubes and self-produced high-transmittance silicon substrates and sapphire substrates to filter light. 

The chip ensures the high signal-to-noise ratio of the detector, and has a faster response speed and a wider detection range than the traditional point-type temperature-sensing and smoke-sensing fire detectors. 

This series of detectors includes voltage amplification mode and current amplification mode, and is subdivided into A0, A1, A2 and other models according to the application requirements of different customers for detection distance, field of view, and anti-interference ability.

The dual-channel pyroelectric infrared detector is mainly used in the NDIR gas detection module, which has the characteristics of high sensitivity, fast response, and cost-effective products. 

The detector contains two independent sensitive element chips, with a narrow-band filter as the infrared optical window. The center wavelength of the reference channel is 3.95um. 

The signal channel can be customized according to the infrared absorption characteristics of the target gas, such as H2O, HC, CH4, CO2 , NOx, N2O, NO2, CO, SO2, Refrigerant, SF6, etc.

The dual-channel MEMS thermopile infrared detector is also used in the NDIR gas detection module, which contains two independent MEMS thermopile chips. 

The detector uses a narrow band filter as the infrared optical window, the reference channel center wavelength is 3.95um, and the signal channel is customized according to the infrared absorption characteristics of the target gas. Compared with pyroelectric infrared detectors, although the signal amplitude of thermopile detectors is weaker, it is compatible with semiconductor production technology and has certain advantages in terms of cost and mass production.
