High bandwidth integrated current sensor NSM211x
The NSM211x series, NOVOSENSE automotive high bandwidth integrated current sensor, is a fully integrated high isolation current sensor solution that achieves accurate current measurement without the need for any external isolation components. This series meets the reliability standard requirements of AEC-Q100 Grade 0, and can operate stably within a more demanding operating temperature range of -40~150℃. It exhibits high precision, high isolation voltage resistance, strong current flow capability, high reliability, and other characteristics to meet the needs of AC or DC current detection in automotive applications. NSM211x series covers three packaging forms: SOW10 with 0.27m Ω primary impedance, SOW16 with 0.85m Ω/1m Ω primary impedance, and SOP8 with 1.2m Ω primary impedance.
Relying on unique circuit design, NSM211x series achieves a -3dB bandwidth of up to 1MHz and a response time as low as 400ns, which helps control systems achieve fast loop control and overcurrent protection. It provides a more compact and reliable solution for power supply and other application scenarios, making the system BOM simpler and more cost-effective. In addition, NSM211x series achieves a creepage distance of up to 8.2mm and a UL compliant 5000Vrms isolation withstand voltage, as well as a maximum working isolation withstand voltage of 1618Vpk. At the same time, it has achieved industry-leading primary impedance as low as 0.27m Ω, with a continuous current capacity of up to 100A, further reducing the difficulty of heat dissipation design in compact systems.
