Long wavelength VCSELs are infrared laser diode. Our VCSELs are from our partners, VERTILAS GmbH.
Long wavelength VCSELs are available from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm with a wide range of packaging options, incl. cooled and uncooled TO packages, as well as LC-TOSAs and pigtails. They are using for gas sensing (TDLAS - Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy), optical communications and customer specific applications in the NIR (Near Infrared) range.
